TW: Suicide, Rape, Sexual Abuse, Drugs, Bullying, Homophobia(mention), Self-harm
a book bout mental health and the very core topic has been represented very poorly.
AND ON EARTH THE SUICICE HERE LOOKS LIKE A REVENGE STORY?!?!

I would still rec the Netflix show. They have done a good job in adapting the plot and showing the perspectives of other character rather than a monologue b/w Hannah and Clay

Review: Queen of Air and Darkness

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare My rating: 5 of 5 stars The amount of pain this book has driven me through is immersive!!! Especially in the first part of the book. Where everything started falling apart, and later in the second part things started to get a little better, it started getting more and more worse. Out of 900 pages, only the last 100 pages were kind of relief and happy-happy moment, yet you are always scared because Cassie can do literally anything in the last 10 pages and be like "Oh I don't think it is such a big deal, ykr I can do worse?!" Also, the epilogue. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! I want an explanation of what is going to happen. This Jace from parallel dimension Thule, he's after Clary now. Gosh. My head is already breaking. City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare My rating: 5 of 5 stars View all my reviews The second book in the Mortal Instruments series begins where the Downworlder's kids were being attacked in the city and the blood is drained out of them. Dealing with their complex sibling relationship, both Jace and Clary are stuck in the complexities of their life, where Jocelyn is still in the hospital brain-dead and Marsyn Lightwood starts throwing shade on Jace for being Valentine's son. This complex the situation with the Inquisitor's arrival in the Institute who accuses Jace of involving in Valentine's plan. The plot starts to develop so well in the City of Ashes that refuses to reader to drop the plan of not completing the series.
